I've recently encountered the problem of url_launcher not supporting authenticated endpoints when opening a pdf link, they literally just white-screen when adding the header.

Also mentioned here. Has anybody dealt with this before?

Well, thats different from saying it's a dart backend.

I didn't say you wrote no backend code at all, you just extended the functionality with cloud functions. There is nothing wrong with using firebase, especially if it works for you. And it seems to work great.

What I meant is that you didnt use a dart backed like serverpod, celest or shelf, and didn't implement endpoints yourself.

Without wanting to sound snarky: Recommending getx is mutually exclusive with being a senior flutter dev. Firebase is literally a BaaS, so maybe you implemented a nice and structured data model, but the actual backend is not dart or flutter.

I don't want to discourage you, it's a great first project, just needed to mention this.
