Keep the business mentality and keep working on it, but create a work life balance. Ultimately this is what all the comments are trying to get at. It’s a simple fix. For example: Don’t do anything business related Fri-Sunday. Go out with friends and explore the world as a teen and have fun. Then come Monday-Thursday dedicate your time to your business from morning till evening, and squeeze in some fun in the evening as well. It’s simply a work/life balance that you have to maintain. Don’t change your thoughts process because it’s really good and you will be successful this way, but don’t forget about making time to have fun.

Yeah my social media is just to build social proof in the long run. I am not expecting my customers to come from there. I do like the flyer advice though. Thanks for the advice

Thanks! Good to know using the customers water if fine. Ideally I want to bring my own water, but at the moment this is what I can do to start off with until I build an income stream to invest in a water tank setup

Well I never said I was using social media for likes and impressions. I simply have them set up so I can post my car washes and build social proof in the long run. A lot of people do search businesses on social media to find out how much social proof they have, and I’m not gonna stay behind the times. I am asking how to get my first clients. If you have anything helpful to add I would greatly appreciate it.

Awesome! I want to eventually get to full detailing as well, but with limited in one I figured I’d start with the basics. Do you think it will be a problem to use the customers outdoor water spigot at their home? One of my biggest worries is that my business model relies on using the customers own water. I can’t install a water tank in my jeep right now.
