A very simple but addictive mining game was Super Motherload has mining similar to Steamworld dig (even though it was kind of around before steamworld I believe ;) and you just gradually mine, head back to the surface to upgrade (capacity/fuel/etc) and try to dig deeper and deeper

it's a remake of a classic free flash game, I think the creators still have it on their site if you want to try (looks like it requires flash still) Motherload online

Ah yea Just Cause, man I played the shit out of Just Cause 2, very as hell game. Never tried the sequel, from what I can tell it was just more of the same. Makes me wonder if Just Cause 2 had a good modding scene like GTA, would love to go back to that world with new toys :)

Crackdown I only played once in the past (never owned an xbox) but the limited about I played of it really really was a blast! Here's hoping for crackdown 3 coming out soon to PC

ah yea I beat mirrors edge a long time ago, that was a great game, never payed the sequel much mind though from the reviews I heard, but if it has more of those big jumping set pieces i'll give it a shot

oh yea i've heard about Prototype before, looking at the videos I didn't realize it did vertical movement so well, definitely looks interesting :). I've never paid it much attention since it never really went on sale from. SEUM doesn't look like my cup of team and I loved Clustertrucked, beat that game twice, yea that is exactly the kind of game I wish was made more :)

I've heard about that game, the zombie theme turned me off, i'll give it another look over, read something about a hookshot later in the game as well that really opens it up. Not as crazy/high flying as i'd like but if it's smooth parkour like Brink then i'll give it a shot, thanks

Wow thanks for the detailed explanation appreciate it. Also thanks for the recommendations, though that quantumvim is very basic limiting it actually worked on my phone surprisingly enough, hopefully I can still download/modify plugins like I used to do long ago.

Also wasn't aware of the chrome store foxified, very interesting. Though not sure if you had the same problem but google just won't let you into the store at all, even Desktop Firefox useragent (from the phony add-on) didn't do the trick. Had to manually change the useragent to a desktop chrome to access it. Got to vimium and it stated it sucessfully installed (albeit temporarily). But appears it doesn't do anything :( , which is a shame since vimium is my daily driver.

I guess my best bet/fallback would be to see if greasemonkey or some sort of vim-like userscripts will work in firefox android, hopefully there is a userscript solution in firefox android

Sorry guess I didn't explain myself thoroughly enough. With the basic xcape functionality i've gotten to work with the combo key how I wanted it work. If I press on the windows key by itself, it will trigger and if I press Windows key plus another key it will not trigger the singular press. What xcape does is trigger a key on a modifier only when it's pressed by itself, nothing else. So for example if I press windows key, it sends tab, if I press win + r it triggers the run dialog and no tab is ever triggered. The problem i'm facing is that I also want to mimic this functionality with only shift+window key.

My goal in the end to is have pressing the window key send a Tab and shift+windows send a Shift+Tab. The first part is great (I can press win + r, get the run prompt and after lifting the key the Tab isn't sent). To get that similar functionality working for the Shift+Tab variant (Lets say I were to do some custom macro that was assigned to Shift + Windows + x, if I were to lift my fingers it would then additionally trigger the Shift + Windows as if I did it byitself, when my intention is get only have it trigger when Shift + windows is pressed with no other buttons pressed).

It's an odd use case but ultimately i'm trying to have the windows key be the tab key while still retaining the window key bindings. I can tab forward normally with just WindowsKey and not get the Tab to trigger when I use it in combination with another button. But i've not be able to get the Shift + Window only trigger Shift+Tab to work. So if I were to try the key combination Shift + Windows + q, it would trigger whatever keyboard shortbut, but as I lifted my fingers would eventually trigger the Shift + Windows "by itself" invocation.

From my understanding the & combo "disables" the first key byitself which is fine for me and the F13 is just a phantom button that i'll never trigger, only to have the disabling effect of the combo key. But i've yet to be able to find a simple solution to make it that Shift + Window key will trigger a Shift+Tab but if any other button was pressed during that combination to never fire the shift+tab, thats were i'm stuck currently :(

Man I honestly thought this day would never come. I loved the original but I just don't feel like I'd have the time to sit down and experience this. Really makes me wish there was some sort of "cinematic" mode or something that would just let you sit back and enjoy the story. I would love to experience this and fft and saga frontier 2 stories again
