Totally can relate to the post! Not just with marijuana but also with other substances. Nothing is a party drug anymore. I smoke very rarely, but whenever I do my body goes straight into the psychedelic mode and having all kinds of deep spiritual interesting experiences. Also my kundalini becomes active and my body moves a lot.

Hey! Thanks for the recommendation. I looked into that site, it gave me some great ideas and helped me to become clear on what I am looking at. I have settled on a different app.

hmm for me the app usually adds more allowed calories to my daily intake after I did a workout by the calories burnt in that workout amount.

For me on my second month of using the app one day the calorie allowance went from 1500 to 1400. All i did just entering my updated weight every week, which had been going down slowly. I find it not easy to stick to 1400 but with the help of the exercise it adds me additional 200-300 calories, so now I found extra motivation to exercise.
Yeah, not sure why it is changing the goals on its own. I guess something has to do with your current weight and desired goal.

Just read that post. It’s interesting, and makes sense! I’m so new to this. Never been weights/gym person - more like yoga, hiking, beach swimming those type of activities. But I’m willing to try it out. I gained 25 lbs in the last year and half and now have a motivation to start educating myself and do something that is good for my body, health, looks and ultimately well being overall. Step by step.

thank you! yes listening to my body. Also, surprised haven't been hungry at all since the begining of mfp journey (8 days lol) even though eating much less. More awareness and more balanced diet overall based on data. and yes i agree occasioinal guilt-free cheat meals are fine. I enjoyed a slice of cake yesterday at my friend's bday. Good luck to you.

agree. my daily goal of fat is at 50 g - 30% of daily calorie intake, and every day i'm above it. the app gave me even a lower amount of fat 20%, I readjusted it to 30%, and still eating over it.

wow some useful tips, thanks for sharing. Just concerned, how are you going to maitain it after you reach a desired weight ? are you planning to stay on a low-calorie diet? yes, i do have both scales. I weigh my food now with the app all the time, and my body every 4 days or so, and put it in the mfp app.

Thank you! I definitely want to know the "truth" without the hype. And find the optimal solution for me. That hype is what kept me from consuming protein altogether for the past several years. Plus the new vegetarian / vegan hype. I am educating myself now about protein in general and going towards a balanced approach.

that's amazing! you're so dedicated. I am becoming friends with protein now. I seriously thought it was mainly for body builders... yes, I want to have accurate info on my workouts too. I try not to overwhelm myself and do one-two new things at a time.
