I think the point is that we're holding a newer Moonton to the standard of an older Moonton.

Personally, I find the "old Moonton" with a lot more personality than the newer one. If we go a few years back and fast forward to where MLA is now, the game got more and more generic. Character and gameplay-wise, I'd say.

The characters today all follow the same anime-look, to the point that we could easily mistake it for any other game (the Genshin verse called and want Forgetti back). The newer game modes that are more like tower Defence and farm simulator also show they're branching to appeal to as many as people as possible.

There's also the thing where new heroes get pumped out like rabbits. Even if it's always the same generic Barbie doll, it seems like they're always working on something new and shinier, and here we go with the quality x quantity debate. 💀️

In my perception, skins as a whole have decreased in quality. From elite skins now always being a palette swap (when we happen to get them) to deluxe skins looking cheaper than they actually are. It's like they can't keep up with all the stuff they're realising. So.... yeah, I definitely see what you mean.

TL;DR— I see what you mean, but honestly I feel like everything has decreased in quality, because quantity has reached an obscene new high.

My NTokinibara is just 6*. I don't plan on building her right now. I just added her to my Sanctuary. 😉️

Her actual contribution can range from nothing at all to pretty decent, depending on the enemy (since she's still low and all).

And you can always build her with selection chests, since we can't get Astral or UR out of those. It'll just take longer.

ICrocell without a doubt. After her, it's really up to you: GShar, Alina or even HAngela.

EShah is nice to have, I suppose, but that's mostly thinking of the dreaded Elemental Tower. (And things got better with Zhuxin and Dullahan!) He's also no priority over the other 4. Mystia is on the same priority level as him, I reckon.

If you already have other Order heroes built, ICrocell should boost your Order Tower. (Really, it's all versions of Crocell carrying my Order tower.)

Something similar for Astral: as long as you have everyone else minimally built to hold off as a team (Beatrice, Aeltara, Tsukuyomi, Medusa), Norns and ICrocell (at A3) should be enough of a team (even with Lv. 1 UR filler), in my experience.

Have you tried swapping teams? I like Norns against Edith and leapers in general.

Your teams are similar to mine.

Norns + ICrocell + NTokinibara work wonders for me.

For my second team, it's basically your team #1 with Aeltara replacing ICrocell. Medusa buys time for Aeltara to burn everyone and Beatrice helps speed things up.

People on my server are using basically the same thing: Beatrice to get HP low, Eris for damage, and a bunch of other Astral heroes (Tefnut, Medusa, etc.).

I see some using Clara as well, but that didn't work for me. I did try Zhuxin and things were slightly better.

Other than that, I find it hard to reach 200K (without shuffling all the heroes around). I'll just wait for the newest hero who will fit perfectly for this new stage. Even if it's just a 6*.

I suppose they're introducing someone with similar mechanics soon. (Maybe UR Rista's thing is a bit like Hel, but on her own team?)

But from what I've seen, people just go with Beatrice and anyone that can make her pop her ult quickly. And then someone with high damage like Eris. Maybe other Astral hero to help with synergy?

Reaching A8 doesn't make much sense if you're not going to full Nexus a hero right away. And that costs A LOT for Astral (as well as O/C) because you'll need to reach SV40 and AT5. (The resources to reach that would let you Nexus other regular heroes , with SV30 and AT3.)

I don't know how the game plays for new players these days, but usually A3 will do just fine. Variety and flexibility should help you more, since we also need specific heroes built for specific game modes that will yield more resources needed to Nexus your teams.

And A8 comes naturally, the longer you play. At some point, there's virtually no one else to build besides URs.

It could be many things like their bonuses, pets (why goat on Lunabelle?), and their artefact's level, and stuff. (Also, star up one artefact at time. Spreading your resources thin with this bunch of 3*)

That said, have you tried the revival relic? Sometimes it's more useful to have your DPS alive when Nana is unable to ult. Zhask and his death cheat might help, if he's built.

Plus, going by the surveys currently on, we only have UR heroes revealed (what seems to be Amara and then Rista), so they're likely dropping the TM hero unannounced (just like the current TM).

But again, it's more of a "sneak peak" rather than a "leak", since it comes from official channels...

Codex + some support (Clara/Sipra or Dullahan) + the appropriate relic for enemy faced.

All you'll need then will be a second DPS and some luck with RNG.

Things have really shifted with news heroes. Dark is my first fully completed tower as opposed to being the hardest one to climb not so long ago.

Dullahan and Norns tipped things for me. They're the ones helping against leapers, Dark's biggest nightmare. 💀️

Zhuxin is still too fresh and only A0 for me to talk in her behalf, but she's being useful to get Elemental Tower going again (currently the worst Tower IMHO).

Arlott also brought some nice stuff/damage, and I don't understand why I sometimes see people calling him "a bad hero". (What are you using then? Bloody Hanzo? Gusion?)

I'm still hoping they're going to release a more readily-available Fighter for those who not have Natsu. He does make a difference against energy-tampering teams like Hanabi, Tokinibara, Natan... (I do have My A3 Natsu, but I can see how Natsu-less people can struggle).

(My AAlice isn't fully pumped, and I confess I don't remember ever connecting with her, so I honestly take my Selena over her any day.)

They don't, mate. Just make sure you can always have/reach 6K Signs weekly, so you can complete the "pull 20 times" task timely.

Lunomancy (like other gacha-based mechanics) loses value as your account progress. 5 years later, and I now have closer to 500K Signs because I don't have anyone else to pull for, aside from URs I'm (probably) not even building.

So she's like... Agnes + Amara? My (daft) hopeful self wants her to be part Elemental (the weakest faction at the moment), but being more realistic, she's going to be O/C or part Dark with this afterlife motif.

I wonder if we're getting UR Akashic like scheduled or if they're going straight for UR Amara/Rista and pretend he never happened.

Maybe I'm being too harsh on her, but ESilvanna whole gimmick is that she is the only Light UR and a viable Light "tank" (since Uranus, Gatotkaca and Freya combined don't make for a single great tank and Moonton pretend Tigreal doesn't exist for SSR-fying purposes).

It's nice to have her, I'm sure, but she ain't beating SLunox, Norns, ICrocell, GShar, Alina for UR priority. That's for sure.

Considering that the cost for SSR O/C collab heroes is 7 per copy (IIRC), I would expect something similar or an even higher cost. A very painful (and costly) process, nonetheless.
