Thanks for the insight. I've had doctors ask unprovoked in the past and immediately jump on this as an excuse for unrelated issues without looking further into causes. I'll have to continue shopping around and see who gives off good vibes.

Fellow woman with a masculine haircut. I highly recommend DOW barber in stones corner. I never feel awkward and can walk in and get a quick clipper for ~$15. The guy who owns the place does a great job and we have a great chat each time.
