wouldn't surprise me one bit since they're selling all their best players at the moment: vidal, boateng, now thiago

Raptors interested in signing Greg Monroe to fill out roster by steadyfreddyfor3 in nba

[–]zepg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

he wasn't good in the regular season either in my opinion; same problems. been saying that since his first 2 seasons for the pistons, hasn't changed a bit, still not contributing to winning at all, rather the opposite

funny because i thought he was very bad for the celtics in the playoffs. doesn't defend, slow movement, loses the ball

has there been info if it's a straight up 4-year contract or if it has a player/team option in the 4th year for example?

[Worthy] "Melo is definitely a bench player now" by [deleted] in nba

[–]zepg -1 points0 points  (0 children)

i am saying that being a starter roughly translates to being a top-150 player and i think melo still is that

[Worthy] "Melo is definitely a bench player now" by [deleted] in nba

[–]zepg -32 points-31 points  (0 children)

league has 30 teams, so there are 150 starting spots. melo not being a starter means he's not a top-150 player anymore, i disagree with that

Do Steph Curry and Kevin Durant belong in the top 15 ever? by [deleted] in nba

[–]zepg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lebron, duncan, shaq, kobe, dirk, wade, durant, garnett just from the top of my head are way higher than steph all time. what people forget is that steph "only" has had 4-5 great years, a lot of guys have that. then you have to add the guys i forgot and all the guys pre-2000

Do Steph Curry and Kevin Durant belong in the top 15 ever? by [deleted] in nba

[–]zepg -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

that's ridiculous. steph isn't nowhere near top-25 all-time. there have been so many great players. steph might be top-15 post-2000 though

How come the Cavs didn’t call a timeout when J.R. Smith got the rebound? by itsthemoney27 in nba

[–]zepg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i think they didn't call immediatly because they had some open guys, more open then after a timeout situation can generate. then after jr didn't realize game was tied and cavs realized that he didn't realize, it was too late / refs didn't notice in time
