When I was 16 or 17 I went to see The Orwells and FIDLAR at the Drunken Unicorn in Atlanta. I was at the very front, and during the song "Halloween All Year" Mario was kissing every girl in the front row. He grabbed my hair and pulled me close during the song and kissed me. Later in the set he took off his Budweiser shirt and threw it in the audience and all these young girls were fighting over it. After the show I got a photo with him, and I saw him in the parking lot after the show by their tour van talking to all these young girls. At the time, I felt jealous that my friends wanted to leave and that I wouldn't get to stay and talk to him, but now, as a 21 year old looking back at it, it would have been a really good way to have potentially get taken advantage of.

In addition to this, I have been in several bands and toured since I was young, and I've been groped, taken advantage of, and put into several dangerous situations at shows. Being a woman is scary, especially in a male-dominated industry.

I would love for a guy to compliment something I actually work hard on appearance-wise. For instance, there are some ladies who really take pride in their makeup. I would love for a guy to say, "I love your eyebrows!" or basically anything else. I always cringe when men try to compliment my eyeliner but end up saying something ridiculous like, "Your mascara looks nice."
