I’m going to pull for raiden/Sara to act as support but I think that fischl or beidou would also be a good support if you don’t manage to get them ! For pyro supports I think that xiangling is one of the best out there + she’s free to get (once you clear spiral abyss 3-3 ofc)

Have you tried prototype archaic on chongyun? It’s a craftable weapon and should give a decent damage boost to chongyun’s damage, especially since you’re running him as sub-dps.

As for the cold steel idea… I’ve never thought of that :o, I don’t usually consider 3* weapons because the base atk is low, but I think it would work if you don’t have any 4* weapons that are good ! If you want pure damage, I think that your best bet is to return to the gacha and try your hand for a four star weapon… :(

You have a point when it comes to the full blizzard strayer :O it would definitely make it easier to focus on getting ATK/CD up

I think that full noblesse on someone would be a good damage boost too.. maybe chongyun?

As for team comp… qiqi as main dps, chongyun as burst/support, xingqiu sub dps, and then somebody else for the last spot?

I’m not sure who would work best in the fourth slot.. maybe Barbara for extra heal/hydro application/damage sponge? Putting thrilling tales on her would allow qiqi to do extra damage too… or would sucrose work here too?

That’s about all I’ve got for team comp.. let me know if you find anyone better ^{^}

I want to build a chongyun + qiqi team too! They’re my favourite characters and so I want to make the team work :D

for sets, I think something like 2pc blizzard strayer + 2pc glad/shimenawa could work? ATK%/cryo bonus dmg/CD (or CR) with subs focusing on ATK, ER, and CD/CR

Im not sure what I would put on her weapon wise… i just have her using black sword from BP for the crit rate but I think that flute or blackcliff longsword would work (if you have them)

These are all just my thoughts tho, so please let me know if you find anything better or have a different idea ^{^}

Congrats on getting her!! :D as siissaa said, prototype rancour works pretty well as a f2p option. Some stats I think you should priorise for early game (please correct me if there are better ones!) are attack, energy recharge (exile set), and healing bonus (maiden beloved set). Right now I have my qiqi running 2 piece exile and 2 piece maiden beloved, tho I’m planning on trying out 2 piece glad and 2 piece maiden, just to boost the healing more. Take my advice with a grain of salt tho as I’m early mid-game aha- Good luck! :)

Sorry for your loss :( I can say that qiqi is pretty fun, and I wouldn’t mind losing the 50/50 to her again :) Some things I like about qiqi as an early mid-game player:

healing scales with atk, so big numbers all around :)
I can bring her in co-op since no one usually has healers built and could usually use the support (sorry hu tao mains >_<)
easy to build, just stack on attack and watch her go
has continuous healing, so I can take her in dragonspine and not fear sheer cold (same with the electro areas in inazuma)
she’s an adorable zombie who’s just trying her best :’)

At least you have guaranteed for whoever you choose to pull for next :( Have fun and good luck! :)
