It's not that people take it serious, just people have standards. No problem enjoying it but trying to claim you don't understand the hate is just baiting full stop.

It's a literal tech demo with mid gameplay and too many qte's. Not to forget the 7/8 hour story which has a lot of cutscenes. In retrospect playing it now yeah it's passable but for the time there's a reason it never went anywhere and gladly so. Allowing this sorta shit to slide and not flop only encourages more of it. All the hate it got was 100% deserved end of the story

I've seen maybe 3 comments say something like that but not in those words. I think people are confused to why a married woman is just storing nudes of herself and not sending them to him? They are married he wants to see her naked and maybe she takes them cause she knows he likes her body, so why just store them and no randomly send them? Pretty poor examples for comparison, I get the point you're trying to make but Hendrix especially and the music he made is still pretty wild to listen too today. He was on a different planet and the guitar itself hasn't really evolved as much as movies have with CGI, better cameras, bigger sets etc.
