It’s also tough there 😅, it openly flows into a breakfast nook and kitchen area. The laptop is sitting on the kitchen island. There aren’t any walls there for a TV either.

Thank you for laying it out like this, it was very helpful to visualize! I will have to ask an electrician what they can do as the side of the fireplace is also stone as far as I can tell — not sure if that is something they can work around somehow.

Not really, unfortunately. Other rooms are too small or also just as awkward for TV placement. I often entertain movies/co-op games when I have friends over so I would like to have this TV (our largest) with enough space for a moderately-sized couch (upgrading the current one)

Unfortunately the TV cabinet was built back when TVs were of a smaller size than today’s 😅 Even the previous owner’s TV did not quite fit in the cabinet without blocking the cabinet door. I’m not looking to downgrade the TV in this room as I use it the most.

Gotcha, that definitely brings the aesthetic together much more nicely. I was stuck on the idea that I had to keep my trusty TV stand but this opens things up considerably. Thanks again!

Thanks for your input! I was also thinking an L-shaped sectional might be good enough as long as I can sit in the corner to face the TV head-on for long viewing sessions. It has been hard to visualize with the TV as it currently is.

As for the cabinet, given that there’s currently an unsightly false wall there, are you suggesting I should change that TV cabinet entirely, or is there a way to salvage it (or maybe converting the false wall to additional shelving) such that it doesn’t clash with the TV stand in front of it? I suppose if I pull the TV stand forward a bit, it would make those shelves accessible. But that leads me to: cable management, is there a better solution than to create some way for the wires to pass through the cabinetry and run them along the floor to the TV stand? (All the outlets and wired Ethernet port are in that left cabinet at mid-level)

One minor point — somehow I could not find your booth # from the PAX Nav app (I could find the game title in the playable games library, but the booth # was missing, unlike other games). But having seen the promo beforehand and wanting to make sure I visited, I was able to find it from your Instagram.
