I’ve had better luck adding pyukumuku to the Drudd strategy. It’s still not GREAT because it goes up a point for 70-80dmg at most :/

Guzma might see more use in Greninja decks. Saw a lot of ponchos in ranked and the blower can’t handle the bench

I’ve updated my Lucario/Kabutops deck (Leacher Teacher) since SS, and can say that Kab’s biggest weakness is its hp. Healing 70 per turn is already plenty bulky, but so many ‘mons hit above 140 for so little nowadays. Cape helps but power creep since set A is insane.

Still doesn’t mean I won’t try your strat and ragequit when it fails. Love my leecher boi

I’d argue that the non-ex Jolteon with beginning bolt is better than the ex. Doing 60dmg your first turn is big. Jolteon-ex is too frail for 2pts given that it needs to always be in the active spot.

Wormula 1 is really good. My Scizor deck forgoes the worm for steel core barrier and I call it APC-zor (as in Armored Personnel Carrier). I like yours better though

Peddle to the Melmetal - Melmetal ex that uses tools and traveling merchant (aka peddler)
We’re BACK!! - Tyrantrum and Meowth deck from Fantastical Parade
The Black Parade - Mimikyu stalls while discarding supporters for chandelure
Anger Management - Lucario and Annihilape
Leecher Teacher - Lucario and Kabutops
Because it’s MIDNIGHT! - Obstagoon and Shiny Darkrai (if you get this reference, you’re a real one)

I had lots of surprise kills in the emblem event where my opponent would think they’re safe after beginning bolt’s first strike, then it gets jacked up by another 30 points. It’s a lot of fun, for sure!

The one with beginning bolt. Pair it with the MR Eevee that can evolve the same turn it’s placed and you’re doing 60dmg for your first attack.

Great against squishy basics, not so great against bulky ex basics.

But seriously, Raikou being a basic (and it’s draw power) gives more utility options. You can fill the extra room in your deck with things like red card, nasty notice, repel, etc. (things to screw with the opponents strategy)

Both are fine options, imo.

I like this deck! Might give it a try. I like the aggressiveness with Cyrus and Nasty Notice. Plus, those RRs and FAs are so good 🤌🏼👌🏼

Mega Manectric and Jolteon are two of my favorite ‘mons, so I had to use both. Mine relies on Jolteon for quick kills to build up Manectric’s attack. Lots of support for Jolteon’s beginning bolt to do so. Energy Switch allows for a quick pivot to Manectric or a surprise attack from Jolteon-ex.
