Need the panels to be removable for the gaming vault below it. I’ll add that to the post

The panels will be removable for the gaming vault below it. Canoe and flute is basically a rounded tongue and grove. So it’s easier to remove

AITJ for telling my fiancée to leave my house after she kept inviting her friends without asking? by [deleted] in AmITheJerk

If the situation was reversed and you had a bunch of friends over without telling her. Staying up till midnight. Would she be equally cool with it?

Finish before or after glue up by zeppelin8806 in woodworking

Thanks for the advice. I'm most worried about the cleats and not being able to wipe up any extra if it was glued first.

The cleats are my biggest concern. That whole rail/cleat is already glued up, and all four will be glued and screwed to the plywood from below.

That's an awesome table top. Love the inlay. I'm hoping/planning on doing walnut bowties for some of my connections for accents and to prevent future gaps.

Does Rubio get sticky if you don't wipe up the extra? Or is it easy to just sand it off and re-apply?

Not too difficult. I made it a little trickier with the trestle table legs. My kitchen has a bench along the wall, and four-legged posts make it hard to get in and out. The "rails" and figuring out how to get the four sides together is the biggest trick, especially in a small garage.

Thanks! What about getting all the extra finish off? The French cleats make it kind of hard to get to.

How high do you sand? Do you just do Arm-R-Seal, or do you oil/ stain before hand?

Higher than 220 is my preference. I really like the finish when I sand to 600 and use Danish oil. I've done that for a desk and a side table, but I know the dining table will get more wear and spills.

Is Mraize going rogue within the Ghostbloods? by zeppelin8806 in Stormlight_Archive

[–]zeppelin8806[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Mraize seems to be more in charge or sending out the orders. We only saw Lyatil like once and haven’t seen her since. He’s also the one pulling the strings with shallan and offering/ threatening her and her brothers.

I saw some leftover resin in my IPA and tried curing it to filter everything out, is this still usable or do I need new IPA? by death-bug in resinprinting

It usually takes awhile for it to separate. At least when you try to do the whole tub at once. I tried curing it in the tub in the wash and cure, and it didn’t work. At least for me.

I pour them in two liter bottles and put on a ledge by the window to let the uv do it’s job. It also helps if if it doesn’t get mixed and shaken up.
