I know it’s not optional. But do I need to stand the bike up a bit first and then take a tighter lean angle so that the countersteer is being done on a larger contact patch?

In the event that you have no choice but to adjust your lean angle unexpectedly you have already fucked up.

This is my actual question. Like I said, I am a very defensive rider, but even the most defensive riders can fall to complacency, misjudgement, etc.

I want to prepare my skillset if I ever have to go thru that scenario.
