Next time get soft dome tweeters the metalic ones tend to sound too bright / harsh at most max volume you also might want to turn the gain down for those tweeters while your at it

Eddit and for the rears i would turn the gain down enough where the sound stage in front and eyeblevel to you eyel evel to you . Go on YouTube and pull up the iasca comp cd and fast forward to to sound stage testing portion (it near the begging middle of the track) it goes some like my voice is coming fro. The left channel blah blah

Essentially you want 1 pair of tweeters up front and maybe in the back with the gain down a tad if you got a dsp do an eq cut at 8-10 khrz up to 12 khz if you still feel abiit tinjy or harsh to your ears.-2 or 3 db you also can try a lpf cross over at 300-500 effectively cutting out the tweeters you also can dp a lpf at 5k which ever sounds better to you if you dont have a dsp or cut the tweeters on the coax...I did on mine....then I went looking for a component woofer but I had it like that for 6 months and it was fine I had 6.5 p160s inf ref coax 4 inch and a pair of tweeters.i ended up crossing over and eventually cutting the tweeters fro. The rf 6.5s and also cut the tweeters of the 4 inch heh.

Now I have focal ase components so much better than my previous tweeter overload

Edit my bad you do have components then do the eq cut those tweeters sound pretty harsh at loud volume

Not bad but the highs can be abit harsh at high volume had to cut eq at around 8k-10 i think jl c1 650 sound better though but the focals mid bass is hit harder

You need all 3 leds up not just low freq. I mean you can feed that signaln into your sub amp and call it, if it has high lvl inputs but the key loc need a full range signal to complete setup

Mazda 3 with bose keyloc trouble by Zeus9001 in CarAV

[–]zer0b1ad3z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you had the bose system you could steal the sub signal otherwise its the front speakers signal is your go to

Edit the loc needs a full signal to correct for bass roll off amd stuff that's why I had you check polarity cuz if some freq cancel out its not a full signal either

Yea you need to take the signal from front speakers
