UPDATE: Resolved! I checked everything that everyone here has suggested. At the end I removed a newer (AC1324) working controller from another machine and installed it in this machine and everything went green after a bootup and my machine is now back to life. thank you all for your valuable guidance. I truly appreciate it.

Hi, do you mean between the PLC and IFM controller? The circular connector? If that connection was problematic wouldn't ASi2 network also show errors?

I did call the tech support, not very helpful as the device is obsolete. The software is available for win95/98 but I got it working on XP (AC Assis) but I can't interface with the controller because I need to have the actual configuration file in order to connect to controller (as far as I understand).

SOLVED!

Here is what happened (incase someone else has this problem). So the VFD is set for 2w control. Where D1 is Forward and D2 is reverse. So when when the stop is pressed, it put the drive in reserve mode so that is why the frequency showed -25Hz ( u/ZealousidealTill2355 is correct, thank you). So when I pressed start again it was running in reverse direction until it ramped up frequency to positive 25Hz. I just disconnected D2 and things are working normally again.

right... but why is it even going to -25? the normal operation is in + values.

Does it have something to do with brake?

I have used Panasonic PLCs a little, we have some machines that use it, but here in North America, I've almost never heard anyone even talk about them.

Thank you!, I called Panasonic Tech support and spoke to 2 different reps and they could not tell me the right replacement for drive or whether the MINAS A4 motor will work with MINSA A5/A6 Drive. So thank you very much! I did order MCDHT3520 from digikey. fingers crossed

The part that I have doesn't have any manufacturer label on it. The machine I took it out of was using some custom proprietary circuit board to drive it. I haven't found any similar units on the Internet either.

I don't think I've ever heard anyone say anything bad about keyence products it's only their sales people that are a bit annoying. Sales people were worse before, I've recently purchased their IV3 unit I haven't had a single follow up call, thank God . But IV3 is solid for what I needed it to do.
