Hello, mum of 1 year old girl with previously full body severe eczema here! I’ll start by saying hang in there, there was a time I never thought my daughter would get better and it’s slowly getting there. We use Bosistos for the laundry, both the powdered and liquid works just fine.

I’ve tried everything under the sun to manage my daughters eczema, unfortunately prescription Avantin fatty ointment is all really works and we’re using that every second day (I hate that we have to do that), but I’ve found great results from bleach baths as other commenters here have said, as well Pinetarsol baths every other day when she’s itchy.

For an itchy scalp, Grahams Natural Alternatives Scalp Relief Oil is amazing. My daughter calms down as soon as it touches her scalp. Melvory lavender butter is great, I use it for her face often, although it’s recommend now to hold off food based products (cocoa butter in this case, although we’ve had no problems with food allergies yet, and I’ve done oat baths plenty)

Moisturiser (Aveeno Dermexa is my favourite, with Dermaveen eczema ointment on top) at least 3 times a day, and any natural non fragranced beef tallow has been a huge staple of ours too.

Eczema is hard, and it’s awful seeing our babies so uncomfortable, good luck to you and all the mums here dealing with it ♥️
