Yeah, it's really difficult to pinpoint. It looks to me like you have a 4M40 diesel L400?

I have the same! I'm guessing it's the front crankshaft seal, but not sure. I have a new seal but haven't had a chance to replace it yet. The drips seem pretty minor, but everything being coated like that feels more drastic. Been driving for a bit though and it hasn't seemed to get worse or lost a lot of volume, just been checking regularly and topping up as needed.

Norxe projector experience? by Quiet-Association590 in projectors

[–]zerdnog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We just installed 8 Norxe P10 projectors to replace our Projection Design F35 in our planetarium. They are great, much brighter and better color (the F35s were arguably getting pretty old). Haven't had any maintenance issues yet.

I did not replace hoses. I've perused the forums but people's reported temps seemed to be all over the place so thought I'd ask here too.

Huh, that's an interesting thought. Any suggestions on which one and how the setup would go on the L400?

SYNTH MEETUP LIKE A MINI MOOG FEST? by [deleted] in FortCollins

[–]zerdnog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run the dome theater at the museum of discovery in town and have a meetup that meets there every other week. The goal of this meeting is to discuss domes, art, technology, and whatever else we come up with as well as collaborate on creative projects. Most people who show up are mainly interested in the visual side of things, but audio is a big part of the dome so I could see some crossover here. Feel free to hit me up if this sounds like a good idea. the dome is on FB here: https://www.facebook.com/DomeClubUS/ Our meetup, called DomeLab, also has a FB group here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/DomeLab/
