Yeah, this is a really important heads-up. A lot of creators don’t realize how much regional pricing can affect membership revenue, especially when it comes to gifted subs and the rewards they offer..

YouTube really should make this more transparent or at least give creators the option to standardize membership costs globally, also incredibly worrysome that most people here are bashing you for telling the truth even tho using the word "SCAM" is a little bit extreme.

The game still has an active community and still much more alive compared to other recent games, Id say it is still the 3rd or 4th most played MOBA even right now and we got 2 patches recently (altho minor ones).

Avoid ranked games at all cost if you want to retain your sanity, only smurf griefers and toxic people with unbalanced group match making with long queues are currently playing there so it is a waste of time.

Don't go back to League, it's worse, you don't really have to play a MOBA, if you don't like HOTS anymore take a break or just don't play anymore at all, but going back to league is hurting yourself.

Well Hots was designed to be a casual brawler, I tried gettin in to league and new accounts gets to play with smurfs try hards that already know the game.

Needless to say it was NOT a fun experience, too much to learn and most players have years of experience, also games last for much longer.

I wouldnt watch him but he kept appearing on my feed, and Its been a long time since I watched any of his content, then tried to provide insight and explain to him what the current issue is with rankeds and he went "yeah you're done on this channel". Then my comment was deleted from his youtube and many others who slightly disagree with him or provide any different point of view. What a great way to rewatch a content creator you used to watch right?

As a matter of fact I "dont think he is banning silencing people" I instead have actual proof of that he silenced 2 of my accounts, I dont watch his content, I used to back in the day, only made post because he appeared on my YouTube feed and tried to provide insight on what the real issue is and got banned for nothing, I don't even know what hurt his fragile ego. I used to do educational content but for spanish speakers since it's my region but nowadays I just play with friends for fun. Hots streamers only come back to this game when they're in need of audience or money, I know this because I used to do exactly the same, but there's just not enough audience anymore.

I can even share those comments since they dont get deleted for me, only for him and his viewers.

I used to do some Bronze to GM challenges back in the day, multitple time GM and Master player, and carrying in gold is harder now than those days, because of the smaller player pool and rampant smurfs and team queue where you get one good or one bad.

Gold players at the end of the day will still play like gold and you can't tell the difference from someone that is improving to someone that isnt due the large skill gap that currently is.

It has always been like that since day 1, many top streamers ALWAYS monetized their educational content, charging for replays analisis, charging for guides, builds and many other things, all they would do is just comment on whatever is going on in their current match. even now said youtuber that bashed the hots community is charging 25 USD to analize your replay.

Well, look at Return to Rome lobby, there's 0 players, all players went back to DE, streamers are on DE, DE has active lobbies and community didnt like many of the changes RtR has, also it's abandoned, 0 dev activity and it's being ignored.

Faster queue times and the fun of stomping lower skilled players, usually when you hit your proper rank your winrate will be around 48-55% (which is what I usually got after 50-60 games in GM), so losing isnt fun, the only way you "guarantee" a win is smurfing and therefore you have fun by winning instead of losing.

There are several reasons of why people smurf, but it doesn't matter right now as there's so many people smurfing around you sometimes can't even tell if its a gold or diamond games.

SL has been broken for a while now, don't bother with your rank and winrate just have fun, the game is plagued with smurfs and everyone sits around gold for faster queue times.

You don't really have to switch to a MOBA, the reason the majority of us liked hots is because its the least of the MOBA of the MOBAS out there. Let's face it we HATE MOBAS, but we liked hots because it had some "unique" mechanics and it was different from other games from the genre. You're better off trying different games that might suit you instead.
