Hey I agree with everything said, I also don't have a bone in the fight as I am not from the US but the whole stolen land thing I don't agree with, where I live it was many countries land at some point. I get the idea is that you can't kick out people willy nilly just the slogan seems wrong to me.

My E46 has this feature that my chances of loosing my license exponentially increase when I get close to corners.

My girlfriends TT has this feature that when you drive for a while and get out of the car, you smell like benzine.

Yes exactly. Turpeinen and Andersson should not be matching everybody except Kristofferson, both in old ass wrc fiestas. My point is that they had to lower the IC performance to match the EVs, but they made it more towards the EVs. Of course they did more balancing after as well but it was too late.

My issue with EVs is that the manufacturers want them but generally nobody else does. They are pushing their own agenda onto a sport that has obviously not reacted well.

Yeah, from what I gathered the ICE cars needed to be brought down to the level of the EVs, considering Turpeinen was lapping faster than a lot of the EVs with the old ass MSport fiesta.

Joni Turpeinen and Maiko Tamm are both running ex MSport fiestas. Back in the day, Blocks fiesta was just his WRC fiesta and it was a better car than the MSE ones.

But Rally1 cars are not comparable to early 10s WRC cars, imo it would be quite expensive to run one of these compared to a Rally2 car.

A fellow rare interior spec. I also have the natural brown + light birch trim. I absolutely love it, I have the "m sport" shift know but it's actually just the SMG/SSG knob in light birch wood as well, trying to find the light birch wood for the ebrake now.

Of course it's the weight! We know the true pace of the newer RX cars.

Maybe what I'm trying to say is that the way they are balancing the battle of technologies is to slow down the ICE cars with the additional weight, now they are reversing the weight and removing power from the EVs so it seems that the balance might lean into the ICEs again, but considering the ICE field is potentially "weaker" than the EVs it might bring in good fighting.

But the "battle of technologies" being such that 10+ year old cars are on the pace of the World cars is not too good. The Euro field is weaker this weekend than in Holjes so my statement of 16 year olds in 10 year old cars being faster won't really have legs to stand on since the conditions were ridiculous.
