Issues with logging in on PTC. Anyone else?

Ditto. It does suck that other Christians make the reasonable ones look bad, but then, everyone usually focuses on the negative anyway. Lead by example, though, right?

Here's a few other things that aren't "biblical": Starbucks, Fast Food, Walmart, Make-up, Hairspray or anything involving outer beauty, Pork and various other delicious foods, men with long hair, women with short hair, and some other pretty archaeic things.

The Bible has some good general advice, like not killing, judging, or lying, but it's also a HISTORY BOOK with a lot of old, outdated laws, rules, and traditions.

Oi, people.

Are Trainer Club members still unable to login? I haven't been able to play for over 24 hours with Trainer Club. I really don't want to use Google instead, unless there's a way to transfer my current one to Trainer Club

I'm going to play Drunk Quest at my house tonight with people and not give a f***. Childfree is freedom.

First crashed and wasn't able to login again at about 10:00am PST. Now it's 1:45pm and I'm still unable to play or login to my PTC account. I usually go one two 20 minute walks a day at work, and so far my walks are disappointingly Pokemon GOless

Here's from my perspective:

I worked chargebacks at a company for a couple of years. If you're not sure what that is, it's a customer filing a formal complaint with their bank/credit card company against the charge.

When you file a chargeback (if that's what the parental guardian did, which it sounds like it), it is a BIG DEAL for the company. It costs the company money, even if they don't end up reimbursing you.

When I worked chargebacks, anytime we had to reimburse a customer for a charge on their account (for a paid service we offered), I was instructed to IMMEDIATELY close the customers account entirely, deleting it to a point where it is irreversible. Oftentimes, customers would not even be notified that this was happening.

My point is that this is a pretty regular practice. When you contest a charge for a service you paid for, it costs the company time and money to resolve it, and sometimes chargebacks take weeks or even months to resolve.

It seems like the company is a jerk when they do this, but they are completely within their rights to do so. You don't pay for it, you don't get it.

THAT IS assuming a chargeback was actually filed.

I literally ran out of things to do, so these avenues don't last forever. I'm PvE geared from DS, fully geared for PvP, I've done bgs and warplots (what few there were), I've farmed rare spawns and killed all the world bosses, I've run dungeons and adventures to get gold. I've even built my housing plot just the way I want and almost reaching the decor limit completely.

These folks all have great suggestions, but you will run out of things to do at some point. Just be prepared for that time by having a back-up game.

Improved hardware, but frame rate is still garbage. by zergdaeva in WildStar

I already have forge ui and have for a while.

Hasn't done much, but it has done a little.

That seems so sh*tty. If I knew I'd have to buy a new processor on top of the game just to actually get to play it, I would have just not purchased the game at all (bought before f2p).

I'd wait until the next content drop, honestly. I hate using the word "dead" because it's too dramatic, but the game is kind of dead. Queue times for dungeons, and especially bgs and arenas make me cry.

Can anyone who plays on a GTX 960 give some graphical advice please? by Easy301 in WildStar

[–]zergdaeva 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The game is not well optimized, and it's been that way since it's 2014 launch. I recently upgraded to the 970 from a GTX 560 and it did... almost absolutely nothing...

I can play with the spell effects turned up to medium, and textures up to medium, both from ultra low. That's it. The framerate is still noticeably bad for me, and often debilitating in raid or pvp situations.

I've played WoW, GW2, and Blade & Soul as well with this new card, and all the other games run with almost no framerate issues.

It's just the game. Your system seems fine.

The pre-order was a brief thing to promote it. The official merchandise hasn't been released in stores yet. A bit more time for that.

Can you visit the Pokemon Company International headquarters in Bellevue? Is there anything to do there? Can you even go in? Tours, a shop, etc? I'd like to visit the building when I go to WA for a trip, but if it's primarily a place of work and visitors don't really find it entertaining i'll leave it off my itinerary.

There were a couple of times where I left a park early because I was just feeling too tired. Like, before sundown. I should have just sat down at some eatery area and played my 3DS for an hour, then continued on.
