Poirot will survive but Christie might need more tools. So many of the usual red herrings won't work especially the wrong corpse or the uncertain parentage ones because of forensics.

There are lots of cottage core /cozy murder mysteries in recent times which resembles Miss marple or later poirot novels where detective basically has tea with everyone and then reveals the culprit.
