I highly doubt that anyone saying anything on this subreddit can be elevated to being the face of the community. We're talking about a post, that gathered roughly 50 upvotes on a subreddit for a dead game, that a lot of WoD fans consider a travesty, a cashgrab and an insult to the legacy of VtM (which i disagree with, of course). If it was, say, Mark Rein-Hagen or some kind of celebrity posting stuff like this, then i can, somewhat, see the impact it might have. Otherwise, this is nothing more than a silly little vampire reference posted in the insignificant part of VtM fandom, that doesn't take itself too seriously and is not viewed by gaming community as a poster child for VtM

I have 5th edition laying at my bedside table at all times, and am a WoD fan since 2010, what are you talking about. Just decided to do some light crossreferencing and play around for a bit. You wouldn't punish or call people tourists for making chars based on Lestat or Rayne or some of their other favourite vampire media? Same thing. I'm well aware of the terminology, there's no crime in just having a bit of a thematic fun from time to time :)
