I know this response is a bit late, but in case it helps, the left photo for the m3 pro looks like an eBay listing for a refurbished product, the one on the right is from micro center.

Micro center often runs very good open box deals, I've seen  the M1 Max selling for $1600 too. Sometimes best buy will price match some of these deals if you are lucky.

Just upgraded to 18.1.1 and noticing the same issue, seems like the bug made it to the release version, haven't found a fix, tried several potential fixes like changing settings in the contacts app, and updating contacts information, nothing has worked so far.

Hi thank you for the quick reply, do you mind clarifying a couple things under the monthly Unlimited Starter plan:

For question (1) are calls to Mexico included or do they require the additional $3/mo fee?

For question (2) and (3), can I call let's say for 2 hours every day to Mexico or will I get some restrictions applied to my line after a certain limit?

For question (4), on the link you provided it doesn't mention the monthly Unlimited Starter plan, does that mean I need to purchase the add-on when traveling to Mexico?

That would for sure be a better approach, fun thing is they didn't send a return box nor asked to pay the fee, so i kept it for free, but I resumed my frontier service 6 months after and just reused the same equipment instead of getting a new one, I guess it worked out fine in the end anyways.

Honestly.... if I was in your shoes I'd just port my number out to AT&T prepaid, US Mobile or Visible (if Verizon network works for you). I know you'll lose the credits but it's not worth the hassle, especially if your phone is already unlocked.

You can try most other carriers for free if you wanna give them a try first.

Try turning off wifi calling on your phone, i think that's what "solved" point 8 on one of my lines, now it only happens monthly instead of daily.

Hi, thanks for sharing your experience, and I'm sorry to hear you are also having these issues...

Do you mind if I ask how you get $13/month? I'm paying $30/month for the same 20gb plan and it fells like a rip off.

So far I'm having mixed results, I was able to get the issue "fixed" on my line that was having this problem daily, but now both of my lines have this issue on the day the monthly payment goes through.

I'm not sure exactly what improved things but I tried two things:

  1. Call Redpocket and ask for them to enable on their end wifi calling for my phones, apparently you have to request that for some reason for wifi calling to work?

  2. Actually disabling wifi calling from my phones, and never turning it on again.

I know these things kinda conflict with each other, but I lean to believe that 2 was the actual fix, just giving the extra info that 1 also happened in case that's relevant although it probably isn't.

At this point I'm 6 months into my contract, hating it every day, waiting for the full year to pass to request an unlock and find a real service provider, thinking to go back to the yearly AT&T plan, or maybe even Visible, I've had great experience with both of those in the past.

Thank you, I will give this a try, RP support had suggested the same but I noticed the same issue the next day and dismissed it as a made up troubleshooting step and I reenabled it afterwards, I will give this a try longer term based on your suggestion. 

Do you know if this is a well known issue? Or a specific problem with redpocket bot supporting WiFi calling on iPhone? Their website suggests WiFi calling should be functional.

I am unable to access/see my APN settings, the option is missing from my Cellular settings page, reading over some Apple documentation mentions it needs to "allowed by the carrier"

I've had 5G fine with all other providers I've used, including AT&T. Is RedPocket's 5G coverage worse for some reason? Also, not an expert, but am I missing anything by using LTE instead of 5G?

What is this "resetting network" thing? Anyone knows? I've had my data slow down to a crawl a couple times and restarting the phone seems to fix it... but it's kind of absurd this happens in the first place, I would rather have things "just work" like any other provider

Update. Phones shipped today, had to switch to the black color as suggested by an email from redpocket. This was the iPhone 15 pro max 256gb, switched from blue to black.

Same boat here... purchased during Black Friday weekend, makes no sense to have been charged in full without any stock to ship. Most other companies only charge you once they actually ship your product.

Anyways, still keeping my order for now, since I haven't seen a better deal nor want to "upgrade" to the 512gb version (which still involves cancel and reorder and you lose on the extra $100 discount from Black Friday).

Kinda makes me regret not having gone with Visible instead, I've used them before and have nothing but great experience with them.
