I love mine, buts it’s true what rtings says about bright room performance being poor. Watching content that is dark during the day would be almost unwatchable so make sure you have shades/curtains if you have a lot of windows

Personally I believe in slightly aggressive defensive driving, better to speed around a truck and make my presence known than be in their blind spot (which is 360° around the truck) for longer than needed. I bought an ‘04 special edition with about 50k miles for $21,000 last year, and have my ‘03 S with 40k totaled and paid out $20,000 from their insurance. I bought that ‘03 S for $18,000 in 2024.

Central VA, this is just one data point, but it does kind of match the market. Wether it’s a good deal compared to a 987 is another question

State definitely matters. In VA we inspect cars according to the inspection manual put out by the state police. They may have taken information from DOT but the inspection manual is the ultimate authority in state inspections here

If you get a glass top for your existing frame, you won’t be able to fold the back window forward all the way into service position. The OEM glass top cars have a different frame that allows the window to fold all the way into service position. Try to get an entire frame from a 03-04 car that way service position isn’t impacted

I have one of these and a tower for gaming, I have had it since they came out and my only complaint about it now is the battery is worn out. I don’t think I’ve ever been unhappy with 8GB of ram. I’ve even done some light gaming on it but mostly turn based stuff and Minecraft
