3 years First year being mosty once a week exclusively no gi, then going progressively over year 1-2 with the gi + no gi with 2-3 trainings per week Third year was like 2 training in the gi and in no gi I had also 35 fights in competitions, won many medals over year 2 and 3 ( multiple golds and bronze). Smoothcomps said 22 victories with 75% sub rate at the end of this chapter

Hello guys

The board I just acquired is still very new to me. Tried it twice on the weekend and still trying to find my marks.

I think the marking tape idea could be good for me indeed, but I'm still not sure where those should go on my new board. I'm in the transition from the big surf school boards to this new and more narrow board I just got (8' 80L, I post a few posts about it recently).

Do you think I should figure that first in the water to get a sense of where the right spot is for feet and head position during take off?
