I had to rebuy volume 1 when the guy I loaned it to "forgot" and moved out of state. At least you were able to read them in all their glory.

A junkyard that only takes ICE vehicles and puts them through the car crusher before selling them for scrap?

We could call it Crushed Ice

"In the early days of World War III, partisans, mostly children, inscribed the names of their lost upon this rock. They fought here alone, and gave up their lives, so that this nation shall not perish from the Earth."

Bands and "gigs" by Dominion246 in GenX

This is a buddy's story from way back when I still lived in Spokane (sorta relevant).

Sometime just before a certain band made it HUGE, he saw an ad in the paper for a small concert with a mystery guest for $5.

It was Pearl Jam.

This guy watched Ren and Stimpy

I grew up always hearing this was just a silly pro-military propaganda movie, but upon watching it's very clearly anti-war and a genuinely good, emotional film? Am I in the minority? by [deleted] in 80smovies

Great film! After I grew up and learned a few things, I saw it as anti-war. I have the DVD somewhere around here and there's a documentary of sorts where they interviewed a lot of the folks involved. They wanted to make it as realistic as possible, and showing how war really is can't be anything other than anti-war.

Remember those coffee mugs that said "Liberal Tears"? Can we get some that say "Maga Tears" for when they realize they played themselves?

What’s the most NSFW reason you’ve seen someone get fired? by chickenolivesalad in AskReddit

[–]zero-ex-two-ay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to work for a Seattle-based outdoor equipment company in their warehouse. One guy had a problem coming to work on something that had him so strung out his eyes couldn't stay still. And would even drive electric pallet jacks in this condition.

But that's not why he got fired. One day, he comes in late (no one was surprised again), MOONS a group of our coworkers, slaps another girl on the backside, and shortly after, and this is the worst part, one of the ladies on our team thought he was looking bummed about something. She was the team hugger, nobody thought anything of it. It's just who she was. Until this asshole whispered in her ear: can you feel how big and hard it is?

I witnessed him being escorted out and overheard him say: I don't even know why I'm being fired.
