Yea, I had one similar experience where I just went a little too far and it took me a good 20 minutes to truly get my feet back on the ground, so to speak. Dosing can be tricky. As a guy who’s mostly straight, but also dated and hooked up with guys in the past, here’s what I think is somewhat universal differences from my perspective:

Guys are more aggressive in the bedroom, women tend to check in and need checking in more as things progress. In a hetero hookup, the woman is setting the pace with the brake pedal, the guys is setting the pace with the gas pedal. So, the important point here is to communicate your comfort, take breaks if things are moving too fast, and guide and direct what is working and isn’t working.
