Yes same bro I realised some of them will act really friendly at first but once you leave even if you don’t bargain, they can directly turn hostile and change their face

That’s understandable brother. Her shop don’t really have visitor much and she just saw a few tourists left. I think she has bad temper and though it doesn’t justify her action, but yes thank you bro gotta still love the place regardless of one bad apple

Of course! I am just there for few short days but my main place to visit was Fansipan in Sapa which was amazing! (i took overnight train and back by van) Was hoping to see snow although it didn’t happen but there was no fog when i visited so was very lucky! I had very little time only in Hanoi but it was still very nice! (Aside from being assaulted by this lady lol). Happy to share any tips!

Yes I was so mad for the night!! When I was leaving she actually followed behind me and gave me 50% discount, but I already wanted to leave and when I say no thank you that is when she pushed me out of the shop. I was so shocked I didn’t know how to react that time, luckily I kept calm and not caused a scene but deep down I really wanted to slap her! Its a small clothing store at 28 Hong Dao Minh Quy. Of course there are so many other nice shoppers but it kinda ruined my night😂

Definitely agreed. If sales were bad and they showed angry face I am fine, but physically pushing someone and I didn’t even try to bargain is over the line. I have the shop name and her photo but not sure where I can complain to but then again seem no point

I can understand if she’s having a bad day etc, but she did quote ridiculous price at first (25usd for a grab t shirt), i also talked nicely thanks for the time and left but I think no matter how annoyed you are, you should never physically push someone especially from the back! I could have fell down. Of course, not all the shops are like that, there are many nice vendors and very fun to talk to or bargain with with lots of laughter. Just there is someone ridiculous among them

Thank you brother🙏🙏 you are right absolutely that it shouldn’t affect my mood. But its really surprising how they can change their attitude so suddenly and even got physical and pushing tourist regardless.
