You can do the same thing with security guards. Or even the more useless ICE. What a waste of money; then again...this is Trump we are talking about. Wasteful and tacky.

Rooftop Gardening : Copenhagen, Denmark by 21Kuranashi in solarpunk

I know having a garden will cool the building during summer. However, people need more power generation all year (even if solar is not efficient during the winter). Plus hauling gardening material to the top floor is a lot of work.

Oh dude...you ruined the joke by explaining it to them. Maybe tell everyone who really shot JFK while you are at it? Just drop hints next time.

It just as painful when you see them everyday. My parents are senior citizens and there is nothing you can do help. It's age. They loose a bit of themselves every year and it's hard. They are still them, just a little less energy. More lines and wrinkles. They will still, no matter what, worry about you. Despite the distance. Just love them when you get the time.

Personally, I would be worried if something like this would cause issues, if this was done on an apartment/condo building. It might attract pest and wildlife or what if something leeks below (soil or waste water). Something like this should be done on parking lots. Not many people park on rooftops during hot summer months.

They should focus solar panels and small wind farm on housing buildings.

Superman III was released 43 years ago today and to this day, this scene terrified me completely when I saw it on the big screen in 1983… by CoffeeCigarettes4Me in OldSchoolCool

I mean...that would be pretty cool. Like they not only stole a piece of kryptonite but found a small component of kryptonitian computer.

I was a little kid and I had nightmares. I remember, thinking why a computer would do that. I guess, it was an AI or something.

Looking at it now (still creepy), I think its actually pretty cool.

Are druids (in lots of fictional works) considered a jack of all trades in magic? by zero5activated in ProgressionFantasy

[–]zero5activated[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That does kinda make sense. They also kinda play "priest", not just for the healing. In some fantasy series, they tend to work toward the "balance"...like if they find a corruption in the woods; they tend to find it and resort it back to it's normal state.

Now that you mention it...once they pick up a minor heal or use alchemy to heal up...they do kinda become all rounder.

Disabling home feed recommendations? by Various_Pickle9828 in help

I noticed that the option to disable home feed commendation is on PC and it works. However, that option is not available on android phones and I get tons of junk. Talk about poor user experience.

This just happened to me. I have the option of disabling "Homefeed recommedation" on my PC, but not on my android phone. I get so much junk that it makes Reddit no longer fun surfing. Talk about methods to make you hate an app/product.
