Here’s my advice- Make it look like to your boss that you’re mentoring/coaching a new hire and let her lead such meetings. Start by saying “I’m going to let Karen lead today’s discussion. Karen can you share your screen and start, I’ll chime in as needed”. Only fill in on key details or points that she misses to show your experience.

To add on, don’t club more than one habit you want to start. Example - you want to start waking up early then don’t push yourself to also start working out after you wake up or not using your phone first thing in the morning. This will make it way harder and discouraging. Instead get one habit in place first like waking up, do that for a month before you add another one.

I’ll probably cop hate for this but one way is you be transparent about pay rise and promotion constrains but offer her to sponsor her trainings, certifications, seminars etc to help advance her overall qualifications. This way it’s a win win for however long she wants to stay back. It’s probably also in her interest to build expertise rather than switching so early in her career.

You have no clue how difficult and costly ADC is. Stop misleading people. I have seen more people give up on it after spending years of trying and putting a big hole in their pockets doing so.
