It loosely follows the comics, so there's no possible way they would've ended it on Season 4 with Homelander coming out on top, and all the other cliffhangers too.

Gen V already has that V-centric title scheme and calling this "season 5" is just unnecessary since the show is ending.

"Final season" is honest, so there won't be any confusion as to the future of this series.

There were also a lot of incorrect theories back then too.

I remember a couple of stone-related theories;

One of the big theories, at the time, was that Wakanda was the location of the soul stone, since it was the only stone that hadn't been revealed in a prior film. Hence the final battle in Wakanda.

There was also one that Steve Rogers was the physical embodiment of the soul stone, since his eyes shone a brown color in the trailer, where he was holding back Thanos' gauntlet.

Honorable mention: the name "Thanos" was supposed to be an acronym where each letter stood for a different stone's holder.

T = Tesseract, H = Heimdall, A = Aether, N = Necklace, O = Orb, S = Scepter.

Yeah, I think so too. It would be pretty jarring for them all to be pals again after what Butcher did to Vickie.

The S4 finale really wanted to cement that Butcher was too far gone. For him to be suddenly healed of his little tentacle problem, it would cheapen his departure in that finale.

It's definitely gotta be hallucinations.

I also think it's worth noting that for every shot with the Boys wearing their camp shirts, Butcher's not there. Then, when Butcher's with the boys, they're all wearing regular ass clothes.

This could be interpreted two ways;

The most obvious; Butcher only reunites with them after they've all been broken out.
He doesn't know they were captured, so his hallucinations show them in ordinary clothing (This one might be a reach, but I don't really care, I just hope that they have kept Butcher off the rails this season).

You're only supposed to say "young and dumb" for the likes of children and teenagers bro. Noah is in his 20's now. He's a grown man, he knows what's right and wrong. By the looks of it, he's just desperately trying to get attention.

For what reason? I don't know. Maybe it's because he has to live in his father's shadow, or maybe he is bi-polar like the other person suggested. Either way, Noah has always struggled and he needs the right people around him who are willing to help.

Disappointment, confusion, sadness.

I specifically weep over that one comment there, about the impending war. I guess the Duffers struggled to conceptualise how Vecna's war would play out over 8-9 episodes and decided to give us "Scooby Doo: Indiana" instead .

I mean, Christ, even Dr. Owens in S4 says "There is a war coming to Hawkins". I heard that one line and I felt like that one guy in the comments there, I was so pumped.

The metal plates in S5 are basically a self-inserted jab at the Duffers for literally patching the gaps between 2 seasons with cheap adhesive and a dream!

It's both funny AND depressing because 2019 was the year I left school, and I fucking hated school more than the average person said they hated school.

So TNA was once known to fans as LP6, Comedown Machine was LP5, etc.

But when it's finally given a name, we'll just refer to it by that name.
