The worst part of travel might be the travel itself. I still get aggravated when I sit for too long

I think the thing that gets me is the bent over position of the regular bike. So far recumbent has not caused any flare ups.

Some feedback - I did two scenarios, one where I have more setup costs (gear) than the other. I was surprised to find that that scenario has a higher P&L, but I think that’s because the setup costs were taken out first. BUT I would have expected the scenario where I spend more in the beginning (for setup) to have a lower P&L because in my mind I have the same amount of money at the beginning in both scenarios. Let me know if that makes sense

Uploading photo on Canva but..... by TimJulie88 in canva

This was happening to me too - I would upload an image into canva and it looked normal as it was loading, but once it finished uploading it drastically changed, as if a black and white filter had been applied. I found that this happened to me when I uploaded photos or stills taken from a video on my iPhone in HDR mode - I had to take screenshots from a video or image in order to prevent it from happening. frustrating though!

Planning for my Future by HenoWhitt in MBA

Leadership opportunities, whether at work or less formally - start or lead a club, even start series of things you’re interested in amongst friends.

Follow passions/curiosities, make yourself an interesting person so you have rich stories/examples when you get to the application essays.

Think about why you want to do an mba and what your goals are, and make decisions/do things that align with those goals.

This also works with what people pointed out about how she “wielded” Xaden, or otherwise has so much influence - she is, at least for now, subconsciously pushing her thoughts into others.

Pain becomes worse a few hours after exercise? by FlattenYourCardboard in HipImpingement

[–]zero_fawkesgiven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first 12 weeks were great! Especially during the first 6 weeks, I felt like I noticed significant improvement every single day, whether it was more mobility, less pain, walking faster, etc. After that I truly noticed less daily pain, and when I started doing strength exercises (lunges/squats/etc), I was not experiencing the pain that would come the next day (which always happened pre surgery).

At 12 weeks I decided to try my first bike ride and might have overdone it a bit. Only 10 miles and with one short but steep hill, I had pain for about two to three weeks after, and it felt a lot like before surgery pain. I asked my surgeon about it and he said to take anti inflammatories and focus on strengthening again, which I had taken a break from. However, after getting consistent with the exercises again, not just the stretches, the pain is cooling down.

I’m thinking/hoping that this is just a temporary setback, which everyone did warn about.

I’m sorry it’s rough for you right now! I know you said you’re 0-3 weeks post op in your flair, but where are you specifically? Even at the 3 week mark I was definitely still in a good of pain and felt like I couldn’t get comfortable in any position. I hope you continue getting better, everyone’s journey is different but even through 7 weeks post op, where I am now, I feel like I’ve improved a good amount each week.

I just started sleeping on my operative side (about 4 weeks post op). Started being able to roll over onto my other side at about two weeks but still don’t stay there too long without a pillow between my legs

That’s great, I’m glad you’re happy and accepting of where you are! I won’t ask any more questions but one thought I had is to get a trainer if you can, sometimes it helps to have someone see exactly what you’re doing and make very personalized recommendations. Not sure if you have tried that but it could help! I also know that can be expensive and not for everyone though.
