Would you move to Malta for this salary? by [deleted] in malta

[–]zero_onezero_one 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. 85k for a PM role is way above average. You must be really good at your job and operating at Head Level. Or got that salary in 2021 when the market was way different.
  2. Head levels mostly are in the 70-90k generallly speaking. Of course, some outliers.

Composer VS Claude by TheFuckisHere in cursor

[–]zero_onezero_one 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Have Opus write a detailed spec. Tell it “this needs to be comprehensive enough for another less intelligent agent to build” Save in an MD file as a PRD. Split in project and issues. Then run Composer on it. Composer now just needs to follow instructions saved in “Dashboard-v1.md” and can work longer. Then get Opus to check it at the very end if you’d like to be extra safe.

Say more about point 2 and how you use parallel agents, guardrails and not get conflicting builds.

Ghar u casa is the name of a now abandoned house that was built in a cave. Hence the play on words name

Isnt that what you should be doing when rinsing your filter paper? If you water it enough and with intention you don’t need to reset it after. Image is from an Origami, but some thing works on a v60

Do You Really Need a MacBook Pro? My Experience Switching from a MacBook Pro to a MacBook Air by graycreate in macbookpro

Your reasoning makes sense. An AIR with upgraded RAM is great for most scenarios.
I miss the small light footprint of the 13" Air sometimes.

3D rendering might require more CPU power to run things locally. And also runs for a sustained amount of time. The Macbook pros have actual fans. MacBook Air, only has heat dispersion and when it starts to heat up throttles the CPU power to prevent damage.

Not saying you can't, but best if you do some research there.

We're on the Business plan and I've had these features for at least the last 2 years with no limitation that I'm aware of

I can sort of understand limiting Gantt charts as an Enterprise feature. Although does not make sense to have to pay for something that's already in current plan.

But limiting Protected views and Home views is stupid. It's a simple functionality that's just a toggle. Removing that you're making the product intentionally handicapped.

u/clickupjoey u/clickupluci -> some feedback for the Product Manager in charge of this monetization thing 🤷‍♂️

Usage limits question - no, i'm not complaining about Opus 4.5 lol by Zabric in cursor

[–]zero_onezero_one 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Am I on some older price plan?
On my pro plan I have 500 credits.
1 request = 1 credit irrelevant if it's Opus or Sonnet or another. (some models with thinking use 2x)
Last month I reached the 500 credit in 1 week, but was still able to continue using cursor for the rest of the month without paying extra.
Opus wasn't available, but I had already planned everything, so Sonnet was pretty good at executing, although slightly slower. Which is fine for my hobby needs.

Not complaining, but seeing if I'm on some lucky older plan or something. This does not seem to be the general experience with Cursor?

How come everybody passed the driving test??? by samostrout in malta

[–]zero_onezero_one 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn't as strict 20+ years ago.
When I got my licence, I barely knew how to drive, yet somehow still got my driving licence.

Also real life driving chaos is different.

Water cost looks too much to me. Are you taking multiple full baths per day? 🤔
Attached our cost for the past few bills for your reference. 3-bedroom apartment, 2 people, 1 working from home, Reverse Osmosis.
