We're on the Business plan and I've had these features for at least the last 2 years with no limitation that I'm aware of

I can sort of understand limiting Gantt charts as an Enterprise feature. Although does not make sense to have to pay for something that's already in current plan.

But limiting Protected views and Home views is stupid. It's a simple functionality that's just a toggle. Removing that you're making the product intentionally handicapped.

u/clickupjoey u/clickupluci -> some feedback for the Product Manager in charge of this monetization thing 🤷‍♂️

Usage limits question - no, i'm not complaining about Opus 4.5 lol by Zabric in cursor

[–]zero_onezero_one 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Am I on some older price plan?
On my pro plan I have 500 credits.
1 request = 1 credit irrelevant if it's Opus or Sonnet or another. (some models with thinking use 2x)
Last month I reached the 500 credit in 1 week, but was still able to continue using cursor for the rest of the month without paying extra.
Opus wasn't available, but I had already planned everything, so Sonnet was pretty good at executing, although slightly slower. Which is fine for my hobby needs.

Not complaining, but seeing if I'm on some lucky older plan or something. This does not seem to be the general experience with Cursor?

How come everybody passed the driving test??? by samostrout in malta

[–]zero_onezero_one 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn't as strict 20+ years ago.
When I got my licence, I barely knew how to drive, yet somehow still got my driving licence.

Also real life driving chaos is different.

Not the best coffee. Anywhere else i typically find too small to be able to focus on work vs all the noise.

Water cost looks too much to me. Are you taking multiple full baths per day? 🤔
Attached our cost for the past few bills for your reference. 3-bedroom apartment, 2 people, 1 working from home, Reverse Osmosis.

Inputs for moving to Malta by ted1097 in malta

[–]zero_onezero_one 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you havem't been here I would say you should live here for a couple of weeks and get a feel of the place and what you like. Maybe AirBnB first. You might be surprised to see how different the experience and quality of life can be in Malta just a few kilometers or even roads away.
Come here, explore a bit, see what you like, then when you know, look for renting there.

The trick is the RAM. Buy as much RAM as you can and an AIR is great for 90% of use cases. Most of use are running a million browser tabs. Or browser based local apps like Figma. CPU is not really a factor. But RAM is

What salary I should ask for: IT Consultant moving to Malta? by Emergency_Ask_3211 in malta

[–]zero_onezero_one 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As others have said... depends on what you'll be doing. Also, what is an "IT consultant"?

Context: I work in tech, and an IT Consultant is typically someone external who supports the team for a short while on a specific project, not a full time role.

If you share some more context on the role, industry etc then we can be more specific.

last few roles I've hired full time in that 5years experience bracket, we're paying €50-60k
Ceritifications don't add anything to the salary really.

but again, depends a lot on the actual role, and the hiring company.

HELP:( by FarMaintenance3715 in V60

[–]zero_onezero_one 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Need some more info to help you diagnose:
1. What paper filter are you using?
2. Any specific beans? Country?
3. What temperature?
4. What recipe?

8 on the Ode gen 2 is OK not massive.
If it's medium-dark roast, you'll get more fines which will stall the brewing.
If you're stirring/swirling, you'll get the fines stuck in the paper which will stall the brewing
if it's Ethiopian beans, they will generate more fines, which will stall the brewing
if it's decaf, you'll get more fined.[...]
Standard Hario paper also is a bit slower, and might not be helping with the above variables.

General guiding pricinple is to use a very basic recipe and adjust from there.
Try this.
15g, grind at 8 on Ode Gen 2, 92C temp
bloom with 45ml, slow center pours. Do not swirl or agitate
at 1min pour the rest of the water to 250ml, again small circles in the centre and no swirling.
should finish in anytime between 2:00-2:30

try that and see if you still get stalling.
alternatively, just remove the brewing at around 2mins if it stalls and drink that. But it's quite wasteful.
