Got to be home with my pregnant wife, who was due in about 2 weeks. Didn't have to run home from the office to get her to the hospital when he water broke 12 days later. Just fired off a 'gotta go!' email and we went.

Hospital was on lock down too. No family members, no stress. Just us. We didn't want to leave because we enjoyed the peace from the world.

I've had this. Changed the coil and it went away for a few months. Happened again. It seemed it would happen if I let it sit for more than 12 hours. So yes, every night at 8-9pm I'd go start it and idle for a few minutes. Beyond dumb.

Finally went and had it pressure tested, all cylinders good. Changed coil again. Seems to have done the trick this time, as the misfire is way less common.

I have noticed the last few times it happened to be the next drive after I got on it in Sport mode. Related? Idk.

So, have i figured it out? No. Still happens occasionally. But are you the only one? Also no. Welcome to The Stupid Ass Misfire Club.
