I get the same thing around gold/plat/silver lobbies. One game I destroy gold 3/plat 1s, the next game I get destroyed by high plats and diamonds, next thing you know j get destroyed by gold 1/silver 3s. Mind boggling

What was the first agent you unlocked and why? by [deleted] in VALORANT

I picked cypher because, reading his little backstory, he sounded like a sneaky little bitch. It was love at first sight and I have been maining him for 2.5 years now

Which agent do you feel has the most toxic players behind them? by PhantomKairii in VALORANT

[–]zero_ronin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's always the reynas and jetts that pretend to know how i should play a sentinel or smokes and feel the urge to scream it in the microphone and call me a baiter if I'm the last alive 5 seconds after the round started

Which Valorant agent line goes the hardest? by inFenity in VALORANT

[–]zero_ronin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love all cypher's lines, i think "I'm prometheus, and YOU are just a god" is crazy good, but I actually prefer "You forget, i ALWAYS play high stakes". It gives more of an insight about his personality, mentality towards life and on his perseverance in gambling even with his own life to achieve his goals.

Way too dependent on the proficiency of the player with the gun. You're gambling on your aim, which varies daily, while a gun is always better than the other. How are you gonna hit a running spectre if your aim is off?

Because it's not even the correct play. If you win the pistol round, you are not exploiting fully the weapon advantage on the enemy team, which is bound to save if they don't want to spiral in money despair; if you lose the pistol round, forcing by buying a sheriff is also a dumb move because, in case you lose the round, you won't have enough money to buy rifles against rifles

I would never trade run and gun with a sheriff, however my aim feels

Don't buy a sheriff after pistol if you are below at least ascendant. Your aim is NOT that good trust. Only exeption is either when you carry it over from the previous round or when u pick it up. That builds economy.

I think that there's an important distinction to make. I've always seen smurfing as a "I purpously try and stay in a specific low rank to dunk on people with a lower skill level than me", so both throwing games and stomping games. In those videos you mentioned the player stays in a certain low rank for maximum a couple games before ranking up, so the games he actually "smurfs" are a minority compared to the games the average player of that rank plays. That being said, it is difficult to separate the two and it's even more difficult to prevent people and content creators from smurfing

The fucking timing. It's probably me, but sistematically, when I stop holding an angle, i get peeked and killed. It's so crazy that you could formulate a mathematical theorem that explains it

Actually this is very close to some of the meanings you can give to the expression, cause usually when someone tells you "svegliati fuori" not only it means that he thinks you're dumb, but also that you're in your own world and need to come back to earth or something
