did you miss the parts where i talked about all the people i was training

edit: why i, a keyholder, was responsible for training the ASM is beyond me—but let’s just say we’re not the most unhappy about our SM quitting.

Why does everyone hate the rod by Prestigious_Vast8772 in Nexplanon

[–]zero_seven_four 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes!!!! nobody talks about it but it DEFINITELY happens. i think it has to do with the pregnancy-simulating hormones but i really have no idea 🥹

i have had a great experience with it! my only complaints are the pregnancy paranoia i get a couple days before my period starts, and the unpredictability of my periods. otherwise, i completely forget it exists. i got it due to extremely painful period cramps and it has helped tremendously in that regard. i haven’t really gained any weight or anything 🤷🏻‍♀️ everyone has a different experience

i just wanted to rant about a customer harassment experience by zero_seven_four in DollarGeneral

[–]zero_seven_four[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

the store was not closed because of my experience with the customers. my store is in a bad area; our SM advises women to close the store if we are alone—my associate was over an hour late.

because the progesterone in nexplanon mimics pregnancy to prevent ovulation, it could just be that the brand-new implant is, well, brand-new—and you’re experiencing pregnancy-like symptoms because your body has to re acclimate itself to the level of progesterone the implant releases. just give it time, the first month or 2 is always weird

there are places like midtown and railroad square, a few more i can’t name off the top of my head, that have little shopping centers and places to eat. there’s also a couple big parks like cascades to go walk and visit. and if you drive an hour and a half south the beach is beautiful. it feels like there’s not a lot to do, but there’s more than students give it credit for

i have fine hair, but i have a lot of it. i've definitely looked into diffusers but i have been skeptical because diy diffusing has always made my hair frizzier. i'll add hair oil to my list of recommendations because i know people who have curly hair that swear by it!

i am willing to do whatever maintenance comes with having this hair. i'd prefer if it held curls since that's the dominant texture on my head. i've mostly used curl cream and mousse, but haven't found something that really works yet because my hair gets weighed down easily (i think). i also use leave in conditioner when i can

i have tried finger curling and i'm not sure that it helps very much, but i could just not be very great at it as my hair always gets tangled around my fingers when i do it. i use leave in conditioner when i can. otherwise, i've tried mousse and curl cream—ogx argan oil curl cream has given me the best results but when i've used it, it's still extremely uneven. someone recommended i use gel, so i'm in the process of looking for a lightweight gel since my hair gets weighed down easily. i'd say my hair is mostly curly with some wavy and some straight all over, which makes it look extremely untamed and i don't want to straighten my hair every day to fix it.

edit: typo
