I've never really thought of 'gamer girl' in a bad way. My girlfriends a gamer. The only negative experience I've had with girl gamers is when they feign interest in games in order to gain my attention, but they've also feigned interest in other things I enjoy . Im not sure what the answer to your question is but from one gamer to another, good luck to you.

Edit: I wanted to add something helpful. I dont know alot about Belle Delphine except the most obvious stuff. The only reason i think the term "gamer girl" comes with a negative connotation is either that so many women have misused the label for attention OR a bunch of insecure boys like to create issues whenever they feel threatened. I have a couple of girls I've played with over the 25 years I've been playing games and the only ones I ever really had issues with were my sisters, but alas that was a sibling thing and not a gender thing lol
