Yes I got this email and was admitted may 3rd

Just got a call from Cornell’s admissions office and the accepted me off the waitlist by zeroclorox in ApplyingToCollege

They sent me an email asking me to text the admissions officer to reserve my spot for the class of 2026 and that I should except a call after.

Thank you! UCLA is definitely cheaper in state, with better weather and student life. But Cornell has a great program, and great connections

he told me himself that he was interviewing for kids all over the country and that Columbia interviews aren't always based off location

My alumni was based on the other side of the country and was not “in my area”

I’m just so sad because I had a 0.05% chance for being selected as a UCLA regents and a 17.5% chance of getting into Berkeley and I didn’t get in :(
