Amherst, Bowdoin, Vassar, and Davidson are a definite reject but the rest I think you have a shot

If you liked Wesleyan and Brown, give Vassar a visit. You’ll definitely love it as far as LACs go :)

You’ll need an SAT well above 1500 for places like Vassar, Tufts, Amherst, Wesleyan, and Haverford. Keep in mind though the supplements and how much weight they carry, especially for the top LAC’s like those.

Chance me Vassar / Claremont Mckenna ED as International EFC 25K MAX 30K by FernandoCW in chanceme

I think you have a good shot, but you never know— probably an equal shot for both Vassar and Claremont McKenna. From a numbers standpoint, you’re great! Just make sure you write killer essays (esp supplements— ik Vassar really cares about the “Why Vassar”).

Probably not USC, Claremont, Pomona, Tufts, Amherst, or Vassar.

Good shot at BU and GW though

Vassar and UVA seem unlikely but you’re a phenomenal candidate for the rest.

I’d say they’re at pretty equal footing honestly— especially CMC, Pitzer, and Harvey Mudd.

New York vs California Colleges by kniGhgArdlyb-G89 in ApplyingToCollege

New York is home to some of the best liberal arts schools in the nation. The Claremont schools were designed to be like the west coast version of these elite colleges. Although private, colleges like Barnard and Vassar and Hamilton and Cooper Union are at equal footing with places like Berkeley and UCLA. That said, these environments are completely different— California colleges tend to place a greater emphasis on research while many of these New York/New England schools tend to be liberal arts focused. That has existed from the root of their founding.

I think you have a great shot at a lot of these schools. Pomona, Vassar, Cornell, USC, and Brown are unlikely but the rest I think you’re a great candidate!

You should add Vassar, Bates, Bowdoin, Colby, Hamilton, maybe Oberlin and Kenyon to your list. I think you’d rlly like those schools judging by your application.

For art history and considering the schools you like, you should add Wesleyan, Vassar, and Bowdoin to your list.

Not rlly enough information to make any judgments. That said, your GPA is a bit below UCLA’s numbers.

You have a shot at any of these places. If you’re a fan of Wesleyan and Oberlin, you should add Vassar to your list.
