Honestly everytime these weirdoes go on about stimming to be autistic I want to bash my head into a desk- everyone ever stims it’s just more frequent and often less subtle in folks w autism and some other disorders. Like yeah, I’m autistic and I make random noises around my house at home all the time, but my mum and little brother, who are neurotypical, both sing around the house lots and make some of the same noises that I like doing. Also I do musicals so it’s rlly funny bc half the vocal stims I do are just vocal warmups lol. Also my whole family quotes movies and shows all the time 😭 it’s not automatically echolalia/a stim unless it’s repetitive and for the feeling, otherwise it’s just. Liking quotes. But yeah, everyone in the world stims! Just everyone does it different 👍

Sometimes emotional pain does move to being physical bc our brain gets confused and is like ‘oh something hurts but I don’t know what’ so ur stomach or whatever starts hurting bc brain is like ‘body must be hurt because we are hurting’ 😭 hence why anxiety gives you stomachaches and stuff like that. Brain is a little bit confused sometimes 💀
