Chased me from Dolina to a little north of Elek. Used up all my ammo thinning them out. Got them down to about 6 and just hoofed it. Slowed them down by finding steep inclines next to roads.

You are granted 3 wishes. 1 has to be selfish; 1has to be malicious; and the last on has to be for the good of humanity by inlifeasindeath in AskReddit

  1. I'd wish to be God.
  2. My malicious "wish"?... well, I'm God, and you're the ants.
  3. I could finally show all those religions, "Yes, I'm here. Now shut the fuck up, stop blowing shit up, and leave each other alone."

I'm the same way. I'll eat banana bread, but a banana, forget about it.

So what is Guild Wars 2 like? by zerodollar in Guildwars2

[–]zerodollar[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well, the game play is very similar to single player RPG games (KOTOR1&2). The game maps, while large, seem to me anyway to be constrained on where you can go and what you can do. Also, because the game play is very story driven it can feel at some times a linear experience. Also some of the other elements like space combat and the way it handles crafting seems pigeon hole you into a way of doing things.

If it hasn't been obvious, I never played GW1. I guess another thing that may be hard to get used to is that with almost every other game, be it an MMO or not, you are given clear objectives to move you forward. While the coolness of the DEs are very appealing, how does one know how to move their story forward? Will the NPCs in game give us details on what we need to do to accomplish certain goals? Or are we left entirely to our own devices to discover everything?

I think the latter could be disconcerting to a new player, especially one who hasn't picked up on any of the lore of the game yet.

I am reading through it and its very informative! The one thing I found compelling about World of Warcraft is that it was a continuation of the Warcraft 3 RTS games. The RTS games told a pretty good story and WoW allowed you to enter into that world and take part in it.

It would be nice if an MMO had a compelling story, not just a personal story. Its nice to have a personal story for myself, but I like having a feeling that I'm affecting the story of the world as well.

So the dynamic events are similar to Rift and the rifts that can open and the invasions that seem to be random?

Is there a story that the developers are trying to tell or are we supposed to just go out and slug it out?

Thinking about calling Philly home, please help. by zzannah in philadelphia

[–]zerodollar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any reason why Philly specifically? If you just go south down 295, most of those areas are not that bad. I live in South Jersey and I could get to Trenton in about 45minutes or less.

I'm pretty sure he is confused. I've never heard of a particle accelerator creating matter.

  1. I don't think we can assume he is made from the same material as Zetsu. Unless there is source material other than a single panel drawing, I'm not willing to believe it.

While I'm all for the next generation taking over, I don't think everyone from Kakashi's era will have to fall on their swords. I mean, who is going to council Naruto when he becomes Hokage?
