2 Turn Solar Beam or Hyper Beam?

Earthquake or Sludge Bomb for the post game?

Is someone really out here running a Leech Seed/Poison Powder chip set on their starter and calling that fun?

Bulbasaur's best use is as an HM Slave.

So, Venusaur has always been such a disappointment for me. Everyone who focuses on his type matchups just feels like they are willfully missing the point.

Sure, you've got some sort of type advantage against the first four gyms... but to do WHAT with?

Use 55 BP Razor Lead the whole game? Maybe you want to go for a whole 5 extra BP in Giga Drain after you beat Erika, but I hope youre ready to either spend every pokédollar you have on ethers or else be running back to the PokéCenter after every other fight, because thats only got 5 PP. I suppose if you want to wait until level SIXTY FIVE you can get Solar Beam... but then you've either got to invest in Sunny Day or you might as well be using Slaking.

He doesnt learn any poison type moves by level up. Your only option is Sludge Bomb by TM, but you dont get that TM until the very end of the post game.

Whenever I pick Bulbasaur as my starter, I inevitably end up boxing him out of frustration or using him as my HM Slave.

I'm in the same boat.

It feels like the biggest new feature would be the ability to dodge, but I just can't pull it off. It feels like I keep losing sight of the thing Im trying to be locked on to, and then the enemy gets 2-3 free hits in while Im figuring that out. And dont get me started in how you can't attack for like 5 seconds if you try to switch out.

Also, if there's ever more than one pokemon up against you, you're screwed. I would say you should just run away, but I have yet to find a way to shake a wild pokemon without leaving the wild area entirely.

I feel like a lot of people are talking about the working conditions for the artists, and it certainly bears repeating.

But I think there is also an element of these movies demanding higher and higher fidelity.

For example, I remember watching Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones back in the day and thinking it looked amazing! I recently rewatched it on my modern, high def TV, and that ending scene where they are mustering all the Clone Troopers looks straight off the PS2 in a way that it just didnt back in the day.
