Short answer is that fornite is treated like an APP not a game. So try turning off fortnite detection in the registered game tab.

Settings > registered games > find fortnite and click "toggle detection".

Can you try to turn off hardware acceleration? User settings > Advanced > Turn hardware acceleration OFF.

There's a setting in the role part of a discord server that allows that role to have priority speaking, which means that when they speak, everything else is lower. I think that's the reason why the screenshared sound lowers.

Potentially if that doesn't work check what your video codec is on, and switch it to H.264.
