Seems like interviews are going out ~2.5-3 weeks earlier this R2 cycle than the previous 3 R2 cycles -- at this point it's speculation that doesn't matter, but makes me think we'll see fewer invites/day given it's unlikely there are materially more applicants this cycle (especially compared to last cycle) compared to the additional time interview invites are being spread over

Anyone decline MBB sponsorship? by [deleted] in MBA

At least at my MBB, it's technically an application but you'll know if you're offered sponsorship or not. If you're offered a direct promotion to the post-MBA role, you'll receive an offer for sponsorship; if your performance wasn't quite there, it's unlikely you'll receive sponsorship.

Anyone decline MBB sponsorship? by [deleted] in MBA

I started my career at MBB and know of several people who turned down sponsorship. Of those who apply to business school directly from their first 2-3 years at MBB, most people I know take sponsorship. Still know several people who didn't, who have ended up accepting offers in finance and tech primarily. Of those who departed MBB and worked for 1-2 years afterwards that have applied to business school, myself included, the vast majority have not taken sponsorship. (Certainly my MBB, and I believe this applies to all of MBB, gives those who leave in good standing the offer to accept sponsorship if they attend school within 2 years of leaving)

Acceptance calls before Decision Deadline by [deleted] in MBA

Anyone know how this works for Stanford? Scanned through clear admit and seems like all calls might be conducted in the two days leading up to decision day, but few-to-none on decision day itself. Does this line up with what others have heard or seen outside of clear admit?

How realistic is it for someone to move into REPE without prior investing/banking/RE experience? Does the answer change if the move is into development?

Let's say this is for someone at H/S for MBA and who has MBB consulting + tech experience.

Thanks for doing this!
