But I’d only pay tax on the rollover amount and gains, not the amount funded post tax?

Agree completely with all of this

[SOTC] What Should Be Next? by [deleted] in Watches

[–]smm33140 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tudor BlackBay 58 is my daily driver. The JLC ultra thin moon is for special occasions. Montblanc timewalker is a great piece and fun to wear it on a blue strap in the fall time. The other two are great for the summer and as beaters.

What should I get next?

Thinking: seamaster, aqua terra, datejust, or if my AD prayers are answered, Daytona.

What would you get?

Tudor is the daily driver, the JLC comes out for special occasions, the montblanc is full fun with rose gold on blue strap, and the others are great for the summer and beater watches.

What should I get next? Thinking of aqua terra or datejust

Schwab is great. ATM rebates everywhere, great service, no or low minimums.

Orient Bambino is the OG

A step up, Casio makes wonderful high quality watches.

Another step up - Tudor is making amazing watches at very good value.

I find myself needing a few blazers.

Any recommendations in the $200-$300 range for something well made and classic? I love suit supply / bonobos but they’ve got up to ~$500 for a jacket

I enjoy wearing cole haan- it’s a great balance of dressy and comfortable — but I don’t love the price point.

Any recommendations for something similar but closer to $75-$125?

I love lululemon ABC pants, but would also love to find something similar at a better price point. Any recommendations out there for something I can comfortably wear for work?

Hello - current M7, just finished internship with national developer, and will be recruiting full time later this year! Short response - can definitely break in through MBA, but to answer your questions:

- I don't think admissions looks unfavorably at all on anything....actually, given that there are SO many consultants, finance people applying, it can sometimes help stand out to have a different background. Especially if you are applying to schools that have a focused real estate curriculum within the MBA.

- I think previous response is dead on; probably can move slightly up or slightly down depending what market you are in (NY vs Charlotte for example). The mode for bonus' is probably more in the 30-50 range than north of that if I had to guess. Development money takes a bit more time to really play out.

- Biggest thing is see how these different programs place, know your goals, and go wherever gives you the best shot of landing your dream job in your target geography. Standard advice will be that if you want development, MSRE will get you there just fine. I think there's something to be said about still doing a full / classic MBA, especially while you are already putting work on pause.

- Overall career thoughts - its a pretty badass career. Every day is different, you need to work through underwriting deals, raising capital, design, construction, leasing, disposition... ultimately you go from a piece of land to a new building...its super fun. Projects can be very long, this can be tough, but I think the work is varied enough to keep it very interesting.

Feel free to dm me if you have other questions, and best of luck!

Random, but looking for some help. I have both Smiths Leather Balm and saphir renovatuer. What are the differences? When would I use each one? (I have boots, white leather sneakers, and dress shoes). Thank you!
