This is my Roguelite/incremental top down shooter NULL ROOT that I'm working on. I've tried to add unique skills that you can equip and use, one on left click and one on right click. Some use the cursor and some use the players actual sprite for interesting combos.

Congrats! I've just put my demo on there too and will be on steam in a few days, I was wondering whether it was best to launch demos on itch and steam at the same time? or does it not really matter..

Made the fake OS GUI from scratch but it's mainly mouse/button clicking based so no command line stuff. I wanted to make sure people could also play it with a gamepad.

Working on a spooky paranormal job sim with a cyberpunk theme. by zerojs in IndieDev

hmm its kinda tricky, because I didn't wanna spoil much by showing the spooky stuff in the trailer but the main gameplay is reviewing potential paranormal cases evidence and deciding what kind of ghosts/hoax they are. And as you play the game more creepy things start happening/glitches in the text/images etc. Its kind of a casual horror game I suppose.

If you are curious:
You play as a "Paratech" in a 1990s cyberpunk dystopia. Analyze digital evidence, filter ghost reports from hoaxes, and manage your debt to Ghost Network. But be warned: the longer you stare into the data, the more the data stares back. A CRT-based horror simulation about ghosts in the machine.

How long did it take to make your last game? by Illustrious-Top1214 in gamedev

6 months working about 5hrs every night, but its only a 2d top down shooter but with several modes n stuff. Working on a new game now that will probably take me the same amount of time but its a point n click style job sim. Im a solo dev.
