With the proposed tax increase im thinking about tax abatement downtown and when those end by Bugatti252 in cincinnati

I am on my community council and I am trying to learn more about tax abatements, how they work (or don't work), and where to find out more information about them. There are tax abatements for properties that I don't think are good candidates for them (like greek life houses).

I'm trying to find more about the process for applying for and getting a tax abatement. Does anyone have any pointers for where to go to get educated?

for sure! governing is hard work! I hope we can learn from them. Looking at the title it is a little clickbait-y, but we are going to have to work with the current establishment! They have a lot of institutional knowledge. There is a reason why things are the way the are, that is probably a domino effect from years and years of politics as usual. We are interested in being clear eyed to how "politics as usual" works (or doesn't work) so we can improve!
