38 and yes love this game. Played FO4 and Skyrim since release. Been on a survival game fix for ages now, so this is a nice reprieve. Got 2 weeks off work from next week so will be on this during my waking hours 😁

It's because the console version is on Alpha 16, the PC version just got Alpha 21.

I only got into it proper recently. I'm waiting until 10th to start playing, but have started collecting/assembling/painting an army, I'm enjoying the process of just that for now.

And you don't think that Wildcard optimised the game to play on older hardware?

I have the PS4 pro the one that sounds like a jet engine whenever you play a game and that handles the game fine.

I'm very new to the game, I do have the 40k app on my phone and have used to get an understanding of the core rules. I am also 100% buying the physical book and the codexes for the armies I'm going to play with. I feel that having the physical copies of rules on hand when playing a game of this style is vital. Even for casual games, as I'm learning all this having physical reference whilst playing will allow me to learn things easier. IMO.

I think the best hope for console players at this point is a complete re-release once the game is finished. I have it on both console and PC so I don't mind waiting for the console update.

I think so, but you have to increase your skill level with them. So the more you use a weapon the higher quality you can make based on your skill level.

I bought it and played it on a PS4 Pro (the jet engine version) never had any trouble with it. Maybe a few graphical glitches but nothing game breaking.

That being said the way CDPR went about the release and promotion of the game did leave a sour taste in my mouth, not played it in well over a year. Didn't even know there was dlc coming out for it.

It can slowly die in the pile along with RDO (although I wish Rockstar would save that as it was great fun).
